About NAWHSL
The National Association of Women Highway Safety Leaders (NAWHSL) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 1967. The NAWHSL mission is to disseminate information, conduct educational programs, promote safe behavior among high-risk populations, and ensure vigorous, effective public policy and programs to reduce highway safety crashes and crash severity.
Mission Statement
To serve as a resource in disseminating information and educational programs to promote safe traffic behavior and advocate for effective public programs to reduce motor vehicle-related crashes, crash severity, and the resulting deaths and life-changing injuries.
Women Leaders Devoted to
Traffic Crash Injury Prevention
We welcome men and women to join as associate members. Associates will receive the NAWHSL Newsletter and an invitation to the annual traffic safety leadership conference. Your $25 dues allow NAWHSL to extend its outreach to national, state, and community partners to strengthen our roadway safety and injury prevention effectiveness.
