Registration Instructions
Complete the Conference Registration Form. You may either copy the form in this packet or you may request a registration form by email (judikeippel@yahoo.com). Return with fees no later than July 24, 2009, to: Judi Keippel, 2743 No. Albany, Chicago, IL 60647
If you must pay after July 24th, send the registration form to Judi by mail or fax to 773-278-7135 by the registration deadline and indicate that payment will be made later.

The special rate of $159.00/night (single or double) ($25.00 for each additional person) plus $1.75/night occupancy charge, $19.00/night resort fee, and 13.0% taxes (current) is available until July 24, 2009. Taxes and gratuities are subject to change without notice. After July 24th room requests are subject to availability at the regular room rate. Individuals are required to guarantee their reservations for late arrival in cash or by use of a major credit card. Cancellation of individual reservations made up to 72 hours prior to arrival will be accepted, and the deposit refunded for the full night’s stay. NOTE: This special rate is available for two days prior to and two days following the conference should you wish to spend extra time in Savannah. Keep in mind that this rate is based on availability, so you would be wise to make your reservations as early as possible for the extra days.
Hotel check-in time is 4.00 PM while check-out time is 12.00 noon. The current valet parking rate is $20.00/night (subject to change), while self parking is available on a complimentary basis.

Transportation
The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport provides flights on a daily basis. Taxis are available outside the baggage claim area for a one-way fee of approximately $32.00 per person plus $5.00 for each additional person. You are urged to share taxis as no shuttle service is available.
Special Optional Activities (Friday, August 28)
Friday Afternoon/Evening: Tour of Historic Savannah ($26.00/person -- see Registration form), followed by dinner at Paula Deen’s famous restaurant, “The Lady & Sons” (order off menu at your own expense).
Banquet (Saturday, August 29)
The NAWHSL Banquet is a fitting closure to the Conference. It is a wonderful opportunity to invite others to join us – especially our NHTSA Regional Administrators and others who are arriving for the GHSA Conference. This event provides the opportunity for us to share our commitment to saving lives and to network and strengthen our partnerships throughout the country. The Banquet is included in the registration fee for those attending the NAWHSL Conference. For those attending only the Banquet, the cost is $80.00/person – please use the enclosed registration form.
This year we are honored to have the Norfolk Southern Railroad’s “Lawmen” Band entertain us with a “gratis” performance. As Norfolk Southern’s ‘in-house’ band, these musicians perform as goodwill ambassadors all over the United States. A group of professional musicians, they love to play their own unique blend of country, bluegrass, blues, pop, beach, and train music. We look forward to their performance! Please note that the banquet is a dressy affair . . . but be sure to wear your dancing shoes!
